As Movember wraps up, we at Neumann Steel are proud to look back on a month of unity and awareness for men’s health. This year, our team rallied together to make a significant impact, truly embodying the spirit of our community.
Movember is more than just growing facial hair—it’s about sparking conversations that matter. Across our company, employees not only grew their ‘Mos but also opened up about the significance of Movember to them personally. Through a series of interviews and open conversations in our staff meetings, we gained profound insights into why this cause resonates with so many.
This Movember, we sat down with two of our own, Shaun Stevens and Matthew Cawley, to talk about why they’re passionate about supporting the cause.
Shaun and Matthew shared their personal insights on what Movember means to them the importance of men opening up, taking care of their health, and supporting one another.
Matthew: “It’s just a matter of talking to people. Everyone is going through struggles, whether they show it or not. Life is tough and you can’t do it on your own”
Shaun: “We all have men in our lives that suffer from health problems, I personally have family members who have suffered, those experiences in my life have promoted me to fundraise.”

We are incredibly proud to support Movember and encourage our entire team, clients, and community to join us in this effort. Every conversation matters, and every dollar raised makes a difference.
Our employees’ efforts did not go unnoticed. With each moustache grown, Neumann Steel pledged donations, and thanks to the enthusiasm and commitment of our team, we raised not only a donation but have brought awareness to the cause and opened conversations.
The funds will go towards supporting research and programs focused on prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health, and suicide prevention.
While Movember has ended, the importance of the message remains. We encourage everyone to keep the dialogue open, support one another, and prioritise health—both physical and mental. A simple chat can make a world of difference.
