SAFETY CAPS

Safety Caps are a plastic accessory that are used to cover the protruding ends of reinforcing steel prior to the concrete being poured.

Safety Caps ensure that there are fewer injuries on the worksite, thus enabling workers to maintain the pace of construction without the risk of injury.

They’re an extremely cost-effective way of increasing the overall safety of the construction site, while also maintaining efficiency and productivity.

During the construction process, when concrete reinforcing is required, there will always be sections of exposed steel reinforcing. This represents a potential trip hazard.  The ends of the reinforcing bars are hard and sharp and have the potential to cause significant injuries.

Using Safety Caps makes exposed rebar far more visible, and provides protection if a worker comes into contact with the rebar.
