BAG TIES

Bag Ties, also known as rod ties, are accessories that are used during the construction process to secure steel reinforcing bars together and prevent movement when the concrete is poured.

They’re primarily used by pool builders as an alternative to tie wire. While they’re slightly more expensive than tie wire, they’re much faster to use when equipped with a metal hook tool.

When using bag ties, there are both manual, and automatic hand tools that can be used to tighten the wires and secure the steel reinforcing in place.

Bag Ties are a popular choice for pool builders over regular tie wire as they decrease construction time.

With the use of a handheld hook tool, bag ties can be rapidly secured to the reinforcing steel which reduces the delay before the concrete can be poured.
